Manchester United have reportedly taken the first steps towards signing Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, but they face serious competition from Paris Saint-Germain.

Manchester United have reportedly already made contact with the representatives of Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho.

The Red Devils have prioritised signing the England international and are believed to be willing to go as high as £70m with their bid.

Paris Saint-Germain will offer serious competition for Sancho but, according to The Sun, United have already taken the first steps towards signing the 18-year-old.

Sancho would supposedly prefer a return to the Premier League with United, but Dortmund are reluctant to sell and want to get at least another year out of the young talent.

Manchester City are due a 15% sell-on fee should Dortmund decide to cash in on the attacking midfielder, who made his full international debut for England in Friday's 5-0 win over the Czech Republic.
