Manchester United are reportedly refusing to go any higher than £70m with their offer for Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire.
The Red Devils have reached an impasse in talks with the Foxes and have just a week-and-a-half to negotiate a deal before the transfer window closes.
Maguire is rumoured to have his heart set on a move to Old Trafford and he sat out training on Monday, allegedly because of illness.
Leicester are holding out for £90m for the England international, £15m more than Liverpool paid in January 2018 to make Virgil van Dijk the most expensive defender in the world, but The Mirror claims that £70m is as high as United will go.
Despite the Foxes stressing that they are under no pressure to sell Maguire, the report indicates that the 26-year-old has grown unhappy and their hand may be forced.
Manchester City are also rumoured to still be in the running to sign the ex-Hull City man.
