Valencia: 'Manchester United can recall Andreas Pereira in January'

Valencia director Mateu Alemany reveals that Manchester United have the option of recalling Andreas Pereira from his loan spell in January.

Valencia director Mateu Alemany has revealed that Manchester United could potentially recall Andreas Pereira from his loan spell at the Spanish club in January.

On deadline day, United allowed the midfielder to move to the Mestalla on a season-long deal after being unable to offer the 21-year-old regular opportunities in the first team.

Pereira has already made four appearances for Valencia in La Liga, but Alemany has suggested that the Brazilian may only complete half of the agreement which is currently in place.

Alemany said: "I would not have made comments, but as the other club has done, I say that it is true that there is the option to recall him in conditions that I will keep confidential, but there is a compensation for Valencia."

Pereira - who spent the most recent campaign at Granada - has featured on 13 occasions for United in all competitions.
