Mexico boss Juan Carlos Osorio has said that he is "very hurt" at his side's 3-0 defeat to Sweden, despite still reaching the last 16 of the World Cup.
Osorio's charges were level at half time, before second-half goals from Ludwig Augustinsson and Andreas Granqvist and an Edson Alvarez own goal allowed Sweden to top Group F.
Speaking to reporters after the game, the Mexico boss criticised his side for a lack of attacking threat, as well as their defending which led to the three goals.
"First of all I have to say that we qualified because we beat Germany and Korea," Osorio said. "However, I am very hurt. We didn't succeed in our penetration in the last third.
"We allowed them to score three goals which is too many. I wasn't happy with the way we defended but that's a learning curve for me."
Mexico will now play Brazil in their last-16 tie on Monday night.
