Millwall interim boss Neil Harris has claimed that his players are "full of belief again" following their vital win over Wigan Athletic in the Championship.
The Lions moved to within four points of safety last night as they earned a 2-0 victory over their fellow strugglers in a feisty clash at The Den.
Harris admits that the team still has a battle on their hands to stay in the league, but the former striker believes that they have now given themselves a great chance of survival.
"That was a Millwall performance," he told their official website. "That is what this club is all about. Like I've said all along, what we are doing is just trying to go out there and win games of football.
"We can't control what happens elsewhere, but what we can do is have an impact out there when it is our turn to play. We are still in a very difficult position but the boys are full of belief again."
Millwall continue their fight to avoid the drop on Saturday when they make the trip to Cardiff City.
