Preview: Millwall vs. Bolton Wanderers

Sports Mole previews the Championship clash between Millwall and Bolton at The New Den.

Bolton Wanderers will be looking to extend their six-game unbeaten run in the Championship on Friday night when they make the trip to Millwall.

The Trotters have climbed up to 18th place in the table in recent weeks thanks to a resurgence under new manager Neil Lennon.

However, they are likely to be keen to get back to winning ways after drawing their previous two matches.

Millwall picked up only their fifth victory of the season last weekend as a narrow 1-0 triumph at fellow strugglers Brighton & Hove Albion saw the Lions edge further away from the drop zone.

Ian Holloway's team have failed to string two consecutive wins together in the league this season, but beating Bolton on Friday would lift them up to 14th spot ahead of a busy festive schedule.

Max Clayton and Craig Davies are missing for the visitors, while on-loan striker Joe Mason will sit out the game after suffering a hamstring problem in training. Millwall have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the match.
