NAC Breda, Willem II play out stalemate

NAC Breda and Willem II play out a 0-0 draw in their Eredivisie clash at the Rat Verlegh Stadion.

NAC Breda and Willem II have played out a 0-0 draw in this afternoon's Eredivisie clash at the Rat Verlegh Stadion.

The hosts had the first chance of the game five minutes in when Adnane Tighadouini collected a loose ball before curling a shot wide.

Breda appealed for a penalty midway through the first half when Kenny van der Weg's effort appeared to strike Ben Sahar on the arm, but the referee waved play on.

Bruno Andrade then threatened in the second half for Willem II, with his shot being acrobatically tipped over the crossbar by Jelle ten Rouwelaar.

It was a game of few chances and neither team could break the deadlock as both had to settle for a point apiece.
