Half-Time Report: Gonzalo Higuain, Allan strikes give Napoli two-goal lead against Lazio

Goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Allan give Maurizio Sarri's Napoli a two-goal advantage over Lazio at half time in their Serie A tie.

Goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Allan have given Napoli a 2-0 lead over Lazio at half time in their Serie A clash.

Higuain opened the scoring, muscling off Wesley Hoedt before firing into the bottom corner from 20 yards out.

The Argentinian striker's opener was his third goal in four fixtures of the 2015-16 season.

Brazilian midfielder Allan added Napoli's second, as he latched on to Lorenzo Insigne's through-ball before slotting past Federico Marchetti.

Napoli bossed the opening 45 minutes, boasting two-thirds of the possession as well as four strikes on target.

Lazio struggled to create anything in the opening period, managing just two shots, neither of which tested Pepe Reina in the Napoli goal.
