Central Coast Mariners have maintained their unbeaten start to the A-League season by producing a second-half comeback to hold Newcastle Jets to a draw at Hunter Stadium.

Newcastle, who are still without a win this season, stormed into a 2-0 lead just after half time, as Scott Neville and Ruben Zadkovich found the net in the 51st and 56th minutes respectively.

However, Marcos Flores started the Mariners' recovery by pulling one back from the penalty spot on 65 minutes.

Zac Anderson then silenced the home crowd by hitting the equaliser 10 minutes from full time.
