Nice have reportedly joined the race to sign Hatem Ben Arfa when the transfer window reopens next week.
Ben Arfa joined Hull City on loan from Newcastle United in the summer, but the attacking midfielder has been unable to make an impact at the KC Stadium.
As a result, the loan spell is set to be cut short, but he is unlikely to have a future at St James' Park after falling down the pecking order under Alan Pardew last season.
According to the Daily Mail, Ligue 1 side Nice are hopeful of bringing Ben Arfa back to France next month, but they could face competition from Olympiacos.
The 27-year-old has played just nine times for Hull this season.
