Rachel Yankey believes that she could still contribute to the England team.
The 35-year-old, who has been capped 129 appearances for the Three Lions, has not featured for her country since Mark Sampson took charge in December 2013.
However, with the Women's World Cup on the horizon, the Arsenal winger has insisted that she is available for selection.
"I am still available. At this moment I'm not being picked. I've made it clear that I want to play for England. I still think I'm good enough, but that's up to the manager," she said.
"I haven't retired from international football and I haven't been told that I'm definitely not playing, so I've got to look at it that I've got as much chance as any other player in the WSL."
Only Fara Williams (138) has earned more caps for England than Yankey.
