Nice beat Brest 4-2 at home in Ligue 1 in a game that had six goals in the second half.

Nice have defeated Brest 4-2 at home in a Ligue 1 match in which all six goals were scored in the second 45 minutes.

After a goalless first half, Nice burst into life in the second period and quickly went 3-0 up.

Camel Meriem latched on to Timothee Kolodziejczak's pass and scored from outside the box in the 46th minute to give the hosts the lead.

Five minutes later Nemanja Pejcinovic headed home from close range to double Nice's advantage.

It became 3-0 in the 67th minute when Eric Bautheac slotted home from the centre of the Brest penalty area.

Brest pulled one back on 78 minutes as Jonathan Ayite successfully converted a penalty.

The goals continued to come, as Valentin Eysseric made it 4-1 to Nice in the 90th minute before Paul Baysse scored for the visitors.
