Norwich City defender Elliott Bennett will return to training next week.

Norwich City boss Chris Hughton has confirmed that defender Elliott Bennett will return to training next week.

The 23-year-old has been out of action since suffering a knee injury on the opening day of the season, but he is expected to return for the clash against Liverpool on September 29.

"He will be training next Monday and is making very good progress," Hughton told Sky Sports News.

Bennett joined Norwich from Brighton & Hove Albion in 2011.
