Norwich City midfielder Josh Murphy has outlined his desire to force his way into the first-team picture for next season.
The 20-year-old played a limited role in the Canaries' push for promotion from the Championship as he spent the final three months of the campaign on loan at Wigan Athletic.
However, Murphy is determined to prove his worth to boss Alex Neil to earn a place in his squad ahead of the start of their Premier League campaign.
He told the club's official website: "It's a level playing field for all the players. If you're doing well, I think you've got a chance of playing.
"I want to play and show everyone what I can do, and hopefully it's a matter of time before I can reach my potential."
Norwich open their season against Crystal Palace at Carrow Road on August 8.
