Former England and Leicester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson reportedly expresses interest in becoming Nottingham Forest's new manager.

Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has reportedly made himself available for the Nottingham Forest managerial vacancy.

The Championship outfit are yet to appoint Steve Cotterill's successor, despite lengthy talks with former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Mick McCarthy, who subsequently ended contact with the club's new Kuwaiti owners, the Al-Hasawi family.

It is understood that Eriksson, who spent a year at Leicester City, is interested in taking Forest forward at the City Ground next season, according to BBC Sport.

Despite reports linking Eriksson to the role, it has been widely speculated that ex-Chelsea boss Glenn Hoddle has already been offered the job.
