Dougie Freedman wants Nottingham Forest to entertain fans

Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman says that he wants his side to play an entertaining style of football.

Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman has said that he wants his side to play an entertaining brand of football.

The Reds have scored 14 goals in four games since Freedman succeeded Stuart Pearce at the beginning of February.

Forest put four past Bolton Wanderers at the City Ground on Saturday, and Freedman hopes that the team's style will keep the fans pleased.

"It is important for us to entertain. This is Nottingham Forest," he told the Nottingham Post.

"I have played here, I have used my experience of playing here to influence what I do as a coach here. It is Nottingham Forest and people pay good money to watch the team and they want to see entertainment.

"I want to see entertainment as well. I want efficiency. It is up to me to make sure the players do their jobs, that they defend and keep the ball out of the net but, along the way, we also want to do things that will make the crowd sit on the edge of their seats."

Forest host Bournemouth on Wednesday evening.
