Oxford United are missing Johnny Mullins after he failed a fitness test on his ankle before tonight's League Two game against Hartlepool United, the defender joining suspended pair Tom Newey and Michael Raynes on the sidelines.

Left-back Jon Meades also misses out despite being touted for a place in the starting XI, with Sam Long and Matt Bevans preferred at the back.

Hartlepool are without winger Andy Monkhouse, out for an estimated four to six weeks with a hamstring strain.

Jack Compton, who replaced Monkhouse in last week's 4-0 win over Bristol Rovers, retains his place in the team.
