Plymouth Argyle and Cheltenham Town are level at the break in a battle between two sides looking to make a playoff push.

Pilgrims defender Neal Trotman had the game's first real opportunity, although his header from a free kick failed to trouble Scott Brown in goal.

Kemar Roofe also came close to breaking the deadlock when he hit the post following a Craig Braham-Barret cross from the left, before Luke McCormick produced a smart stop to prevent his side from going behind.

Sido Jombati's cross from the right was well volleyed by Jamie Cureton at the end of the first half, but the striker's effort was well blocked by Maxine Blanchard in a low-key 45 minutes at Home Park.
