Carlo Ancelotti admits that he is looking forward to 2013 after a good end to the year for PSG.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that he is looking forward to 2013 with his side sitting top of Ligue 1 at the end of 2012.

PSG have recovered from a slow start to win the last four league games, and Ancelotti was impressed with his side's improvement.

"The holidays will be good as we're top of the table," Ligue1.com quotes Ancelotti as saying.

"We've had some problems, some very difficult moments. The important thing was the reaction. It was good, the players deserve praise.

"What we've shown over the last month is important for next year. If we continue with the same level of performance, it'll be a very good 2013."

PSG beat Brest 3-0 on Friday night.
