Javier Pastore says that he is getting better every day as he recovers from a tear in his thigh muscle.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore has said that he hopes to "get moving again very soon" following his thigh injury.

The Argentine international limped off during the first half of PSG's 4-0 Coupe de France victory over Sable-sur-Sarthe on January 20.

"I'm hoping to get moving again very soon," Pastore told the club's official website.

"I'm doing a lot better than I was and I'm getting better every day.

"My thigh is no longer giving me any grief in my daily life and we'll continue this programme over the coming days so that I can make my return to action as soon as possible."

Carlo Ancelotti hopes that the 22-year-old will be fit in time for his team's crucial encounter with title rivals Montpellier on February 19.
