Queens Park Rangers director Ruben Emir Gnanalingam insists that the board are working well with manager Harry Redknapp with regards to the rebuilding of the club.

Queens Park Rangers director Ruben Emir Gnanalingam has insisted that the board and manager Harry Redknapp are on the same page in terms of transfer strategy.

The former Tottenham Hotspur boss recently suggested that he could leave the club if the hierarchy try to interfere with his rebuilding plans.

"We had a good and positive meeting," Sky Sports News quotes Gnanalingam as saying. "We're all very clear in terms of what we are trying to achieve and the strategy is in place to ensure we do things the right way.

"Harry has earmarked players he wants to add and we are pursuing a number of targets to give us the best possible chance next season."

QPR failed to retain their Premier League status following Redknapp's arrival midway through the campaign.
