Harry Redknapp 'not finished' with football following Queens Park Rangers exit

Harry Redknapp insists that he is 'not finished' with football after resigning as Queens Park Rangers manager.

Harry Redknapp has revealed that he intends to continue working within football, despite quitting his role as Queens Park Rangers manager.

The 67-year-old resigned from his post yesterday, claiming that his upcoming double knee surgery needs to take priority.

Redknapp was quick to dismiss suggestions that he left because the club failed to sign any new players on transfer deadline day.

"I still don't think I'm finished with football," London 24 quotes Redknapp as saying. "When I've had the operations, I'll be looking for work again, I know that. I can't imagine my life without it. But right now, I've got to make my health the priority."

The former Tottenham Hotspur boss has backed Les Ferdinand to replace him at Loftus Road.
