Preview: Queens Park Rangers vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

Sports Mole peers ahead to Queens Park Rangers' match against Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday night.

Queens Park Rangers could go top of the Championship by extending their unbeaten start to the season when Brighton & Hove Albion visit Loftus Road on Wednesday evening.

Harry Redknapp's men have won five and drawn one to start their bid to get back in the Premier League and will be expected to come past Oscar Garcia's Brighton, who will be without top scorer Leonardo Ulloa after his straight red at Reading on Sunday.

Ashley Barnes is likely to replace Ulloa and spearhead the Brighton attack, while Will Buckley may be preferred to Jake Forster-Caskey.

Redknapp may want to tinker with his lineup and could hand Niko Kranjcar his first start for the club on the left of midfield.

Bobby Zamora and Andy Johnson have rotated to partner Charlie Austin up front and Zamora's start at the weekend should mean that Johnson will be given the nod on Wednesday.

These two sides haven't met for seven-and-a-half years, when it finished 1-1 at Loftus Road.
