Second-placed Dunfermline Athletic recovered after being 2-1 down at Forfar Athletic after 60 minutes to triumph 4-2.

Substitute Stephen Husband began the comeback in the 69th minute, and an own goal by Darren Dods three minutes later put Jim Jefferies's side ahead. Lawrence Shankland wrapped up victory in the 89th minute.

Meanwhile, Stranraer could only muster a 1-1 draw at home to Arbroath, with Grant Gallagher scoring a 79th-minute equaliser for the hosts.

Despite gaining a point, Arbroath dropped to the foot of the league, as Lewis Coult scored an injury-time winner for Airdrieonians in a 2-1 win over Brechin City.

Stenhousemuir also scored an injury-time goal to rescue a 1-1 draw at home to East Fife, who had led since the 46th minute through Liam Buchanan. Eddie Malone was the hero for The Warriors.
