Swansea City dominate proceedings against Reading but have failed to break the deadlock in the first half at the Madejski Stadium

Reading are holding Swansea City to a goalless draw at home in the Premier League at the moment.

The Swans have been the better side so far in the first 45 minutes and have dominated proceedings at the Madejski Stadium, but have yet to find the target.

Michael Laudrup's side could have pulled ahead as early as the fifth minute had Michu's effort from the edge of the Royals' penalty box been on target.

Minutes later Ki Sung-Yueng tried his luck with a free kick from distance only to see it sail high over the Reading crossbar.

Swansea settled into their passing rhythm and kept the ball out of the reach of Reading, whose first real attack of the match came in the 16th minute.

Ian Harte's free kick fell to Jimmy Kebe inside the area, but his volley was off target.

Michu had another good chance to put the Swans in the lead just before the half-hour mark when Chris Gunter inadvertently chested the ball into his path, but the Spanish striker shot high from inside the six-yard box.
