An ankle injury is thought to be troubling Sean Morrison ahead of Reading's trip to Sunderland.

Reading are expected to be without Sean Morison for tomorrow's encounter with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

The young defender is currently struggling with an ankle complaint that he suffered against Southampton at the weekend.

The Royals will also be without Russian frontman Pavel Pogrebnyak, who has picked up a muscular problem.

Alex McCarthy, Jimmy Kebe and Jem Karacan will also not make the trip to take on the Black Cats.
