Reading midfielder Hal Robson-Kanu has revealed that he will miss today's match with Liverpool after suffering a freak injury in training.
The Welsh international was in line to start against the Reds this afternoon, but misses out after cutting his knee in a training-ground accident this week.
Robson-Kanu used Twitter to tell Royals fans that he is on the injured list after landing on a stone in training.
He tweeted: "Won't be playing in today's game. Had seven stitches to my knee after unfortunately landing on a stone on the pitch in training. Back soon."
Reading sit rock-bottom of the Premier League under new manager Nigel Adkins with 23 points from 32 games.
