Real Madrid midfielder Kaka has earned his first call up to the Brazilian national team in over a year.
The 29-year-old has been selected for the upcoming friendlies against Gabon and Egypt.
"I had always said, and he was aware of it, that if he returned to form and he started to play regularly again, he would return to the team," said manager Mano Menezes.
Kaka last played for his country in their 2010 World Cup defeat against the Netherlands.
