Jude Bellingham is set to return to the Real Madrid XI for Sunday's La Liga clash with Cadiz, with the midfielder training this week after suffering a shoulder problem earlier this month.
The England international has missed his side's last two matches and was also unable to represent his country in their November fixtures due to the issue, but he is expected to be back in the team for this match.
Rodrygo is also likely to start despite concerns over a knee problem which he suffered while representing Brazil, with tests allegedly confirming that it was only a minor issue.
Dani Ceballos is also back in the squad, while Kepa Arrizabalaga has also been training this week, but the on-loan Chelsea goalkeeper misses out once again due to a thigh issue.
Real Madrid will be without the services of a number of important players, including Vinicius Junior and Eduardo Camavinga, who picked up problems during the international break.
A thigh issue will keep Vinicius out until late January, while Camavinga also faces a battle to be back before the end of the first month of 2024 due to a knee ligament injury.
Aurelien Tchouameni and Arda Guler are also still sidelined, while Eder Militao and Thibaut Courtois remain long-term absentees due to serious knee injuries, but both players are expected to be available before the end of the campaign.
Luka Modric is likely to come into the midfield this weekend, while Andriy Lunin and Joselu are also expected to benefit from the absences to start against Cadiz.
Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Lunin; Carvajal, Rudiger, Alaba, Mendy; Valverde, Kroos, Modric; Bellingham; Rodrygo, Joselu
