Team News: Karim Benzema left out by Real Madrid for Sevilla clash

Rafael Benitez leaves Karim Benezema out of Real Madrid's matchday squad for their La Liga game against Sevilla.

Karim Benzema has not been included in the matchday squad by Real Madrid manager Rafael Benitez for their trip to Sevilla.

Los Merengues do have Gareth Bale back after a calf problem, but Marcelo and Keylor Navas are absent for the visitors.

Pepe is drafted into central defence, in place of Raphael Varane, while Nacho comes in at left-back.

Meanwhile, Unai Emery's side is still without the services of injured striker Kevin Gameiro, with Italian forward Ciro Immobile deputising.

Immobile's selection means that former Athletic Bilbao frontman Fernando Llorente is consigned to the substitute's bench.

Sevilla: Rico, Tremoulinas, Mariano, Andreolli, Rami, Konoplyanka, N'Zonzi, Banega, Vitolo, Krychowiak, Immobile
Subs: Soria, Coke, Kolodziejczak, Iborra, Krohn-Dehli, Reyes, Llorente

Real Madrid: Casilla, Pepe, Ramos, Nacho, Ronaldo, Kroos, Bale, Casemiro, Modric, Isco, Danilo
Subs: Yanez, Varane, James, Kovacic, Arbeloa, Lucas, Jese
