Preview: Roma vs. Catania

Sports Mole takes a look at Sunday's Serie A clash between Roma and Catania at the Stadio Olimpico.

Roma will be seeking to end 2013 on a positive note when they take on Catania in the Italian capital on Sunday afternoon.

The Giallorossi are still unbeaten in Serie A but a total of five draws means that they trail leaders Juventus by five points.

In fact, Rudi Garcia's side have taken just eight points from the last six games after winning their first 10 on the spin and will be without key midfielders Daniele De Rossi and Kevin Strootman as they attempt to break out of their slump.

Meanwhile, the visitors are bottom of the table, four points from safety.

Luigi De Canio's men have never recorded a victory against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico and are also without success in their last four league outings.

Recent form:

Roma: DDDDWD

Catania: LWLLLD

Possible starting lineups

Roma: De Sanctis, Maicon, Benatia, Castan, Dodo, Florenzi, Bradley, Pjanic, Gervinho, Totti, Ljajic

Catania: Frison, Peruzzi, Legrottaglie, Rolin, Biraghi, Izco, Guarente, Plasil, Castro, Bergessio, Barrientos

Sports Mole says: 3-0
