Rotherham United boss Neil Redfearn: 'We have to become a tougher team'

Rotherham United boss Neil Redfearn insists that his side have to become harder to beat following their 2-0 loss to Sheffield Wednesday at the New York Stadium.

Rotherham United boss Neil Redfearn has called on his team to become a tougher outfit following their 2-0 defeat at the hands of Sheffield Wednesday.

The Millers slumped to their eighth loss of the campaign as second-half strikes from Lucas Joao and Fernando Forestieri won the game for the Owls at the New York Stadium.

"We've got to be mentally tougher and harder to beat. It was too easy tonight," Redfearn told Sky Sports News.

"We gave both goals away, we didn't make them work hard to get them. We had to work had for our chances.

"It was disappointing. Fifteen minutes after half-time, we were two goals down. We talked about coming out of the traps ourselves but it was the opposite."

Rotherham are 23rd in the Championship following their defeat.
