Rotherham United manager Steve Evans believes that his side did enough to beat Colchester United in Tuesday night's goalless draw at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
Sanchez Watt had an effort ruled out for the U's for a foul committed by Clinton Morrison on goalkeeper Adam Collin in the build-up to the attack.
However, Rotherham were the better team in the second half, although they were unable to find a winner.
"We didn't play first half. I thought we lacked that spirit and fight and were a yard off the pace or so, but after the break I thought we could have won it quite comfortably and except for the odd breakaway they were hardly in our half," Evans told the club's official website.
"In the second half I thought we made three good chances but it's two points dropped for sure."
The Millers are fifth in the league table.
