Preview: Saint-Etienne vs. Monaco

Sports Mole previews the fixture in Ligue 1 between Saint-Etienne and Monaco.

Saint-Etienne will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run to six games when they host Monaco in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

Christophe Galtier's side have been involved in a number of tight contests recently without suffering a loss and they will be confident of continuing that streak against last season's runners-up.

Ricky van Wolfswinkel, who is on loan at the club from Norwich City, could return to the starting lineup after being dropped in the Europa League on Thursday night.

However, defender Francois Clerc remains unavailable with an ankle problem.

Monaco had gone six games without defeat before they succumbed to a narrow defeat to Benfica in the Champions League.

However, after a mixed start to the campaign, coach Leonardo Jardim has guided his team into the top half of the standings, just five points behind third position.

Monaco are expected to still be without Dimitar Berbatov, who hasn't featured since October 22 because a groin strain.
