Sevilla have agreed a deal to sign Luis Muriel from Sampdoria for a club-record €20m (£17.7m) fee.
The 26-year-old striker is set to sign a five-year deal with the La Liga outfit, and the switch will be officially confirmed once he has undergone a medical.
Muriel has previously been linked with Everton and West Ham United, but Sevilla have won the race for his signature and tied him down to a deal which will keep him at the club until 2022.
The Colombia international scored 11 goals in 31 Serie A appearances for Sampdoria and leaves the club following a three-year spell having joined from Udinese in 2014, initially on loan.
Muriel becomes Sevilla's third signing of the summer under new manager Eduardo Berizzo, following in the footsteps of Ever Banega and Jordan Amavi.
The Spanish club, who finished fourth in La Liga last season, have also agreed a deal to sign Guido Pizarro.
