Preview: Sheffield Wednesday vs. Burnley

Sports Mole previews this weekend's Championship encounter between Sheffield Wednesday and Burnley.

Sheffield Wednesday will try to draw on their home advantage this weekend when they take on Burnley at Hillsborough.

The Owls head into the clash on the back of a disappointing run since the 2013-14 season kicked off. Despite a positive start, they were unable to convert a victory against newly-demoted Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers, who completed a 2-1 victory.

Just a few days after the Owls' opening Championship defeat, they succumbed to another loss at the hands of Rotherham United in the League Cup.

However, Burnley travel to Hillsborough following a 4-0 victory over York City in the League Cup, but failed to snatch all three points against Bolton Wanderers in their opening Championship game by playing out a 1-1 draw.

Atdhe Nuhiu is expected to start in attack for the Owls, while Burnley's Daniel Lafferty is likely to hold the back four for the away side, while Sam Vokes should be given the nod to lead the line up front.
