Southampton boss Ronald Koeman refuses to discuss Morgan Schneiderlin future

Southampton boss Ronald Koeman refuses to discuss Morgan Schneiderlin's future after the Frenchman was quoted as saying that he wants to join a "big club".

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has refused to discuss rumours surrounding Morgan Schneiderlin's long-term future at the club.

The French midfielder, who expressed a desire to leave the Saints in the summer, was recently quoted as saying that he wants to play for a "big club".

In response to his claims, Koeman told reporters: "I am saying nothing about Morgan's future. I know that people can take things out of interviews and make a big deal about it. We will see what happens. He's a player of Southampton."

The Saints are currently second in the Premier League table, four points behind leaders Chelsea.
