Report: Dani Osvaldo on verge of MLS move

Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo could reportedly join New York Red Bulls when his loan spell with Boca Juniors ends next month.

Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo has reportedly been in talks with MLS side New York Red Bulls over a potential loan move.

The Italian international has not featured for the Saints since a training ground fight with teammate Jose Fonte in January 2014, resulting in loan spells with Juventus, Inter Milan and Boca Juniors.

With his stint at the Argentine club due to come to an end next month, Ole reports that the 29-year-old is close to agreeing a move to Red Bulls.

Osvaldo has scored 16 goals in 49 appearances on loan during his Southampton exile.
