Andre Villas-Boas wants perfect Europa League record

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas admits that he wants to finish the Europa League group stage with a perfect record.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has admitted that he wants his side to end the Europa League group stage with a perfect record.

Spurs, who have won all five of their previous games in Group K, play their final fixture on Thursday when they entertain Anzhi Makhachkala.

"We're looking for another win. It would be brilliant to complete the run in the group and finish with 18 points," Villas-Boas is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"It's completely different to last season, when we had a much more competitive group and struggled to find the initial wins."

Tottenham reached the quarter-finals of last season's competition before they were beaten on penalties by Basel.
