Christian Eriksen back in contention for Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino reveals that midfielder Christian Eriksen is available for selection for Saturday's clash with Huddersfield Town.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has been declared fit for Saturday's trip to Huddersfield Town.

At the start of the week, it was revealed that Eriksen was suffering with illness, an issue which ruled the Dane out of the journey to APOEL in the Champions League.

However, at his pre-match press conference, head coach Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that the playmaker will feature in his squad for the game at the John Smith's Stadium.

The 25-year-old has already contributed two goals and two assists from his six appearances in the Premier League this season.

Last weekend, Eriksen became the top-scoring Danish player in England's top flight - overtaking former Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner - when scoring Spurs' third goal in the 3-2 triumph over West Ham United.
