Dele Alli believes that Mauricio Pochettino's tenure at Tottenham Hotspur speaks for itself and is complimentary about the Argentine's man-management skills.

Dele Alli has spoken highly of Mauricio Pochettino's tenure at Tottenham Hotspur and is especially complimentary about the coach's man-management skills.

Since taking the Spurs reins four years ago, the Argentine has established the North London club as a top-four team, taking them close to the Premier League title in 2016.

England international Alli, who joined Tottenham from MK Dons in 2015, has prospered under Pochettino, becoming an established first-team player for club and country.

"I think from the outside everyone can see what he's done with the club and the players," Alli told BT Sport. "As a player you don't need any more confidence than having a manager that puts all in his trust in you and he'll tell you the truth.

"He's pulled me a few times to speak to me about my game but he'll catch it early - he'll see it before you see it in regards to having a dip in form or if you're not doing something right. That's one of the main things that I respect and love about him."

Spurs look set for a top-four finish this season, sitting five points clear of fifth-placed Chelsea with three games to go.
