Andre Villas-Boas says that he wants to compete in all four competitions this season.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has targeted Europe League success in his first season in charge at White Hart Lane.

The Portuguese manager said that his main priority is trying to put a squad together capable of challenging in the Premier League.

However, the 34-year-old, who won the Europa League with Porto in 2010, said that he is also keen on success in the cup competitions.

"We are trying to put together a squad that makes us compete for the title," said Villas-Boas. "One important thing is that we'd like to compete in the four competitions, particularly in the Europa League.

"It is the first European competition I won. Hopefully, I can get some more. It's a competition that has so much history in this club, too."

Villas-Boas succeeded Harry Redknapp as manager.
