Spurs assistant Kevin Bond says that Harry Redknapp's recent heart operation will not diminish his desire to manage the side.

Tottenham Hotspur assistant coach Kevin Bond has said that Harry Redknapp's recent heart operation does not signal the end of his managerial career.

The Spurs boss went under the knife on Wednesday to unblock an artery, but Bond believes that it will not diminish Redknapp's desire to manage the White Hart Lane club.

"This will not knock Harry's desire to manage, no chance," he said.

"It won't happen. You give him two days off and he will come back rejuvenated.

"It's nothing really for us to worry about. It's happened. The procedure has come and gone. I have spoken to Harry and he is fine."

Redknapp will miss his side's Europa League match against Rubin Kazan in Russia on Thursday.
