Federico Fazio: 'Tottenham Hotspur can succeed in every competition'

Federico Fazio believes that Tottenham Hotspur have the squad to challenge for success in four competitions this season.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Federico Fazio has claimed that the club have the quality to enjoy success in every competition this season.

Mauricio Pochettino's side meet Sheffield United in the semi-final of the League Cup this month, and they are still in the FA Cup after playing out a 1-1 draw with Burnley in the third round on Monday night.

Fazio believes that both competitions represent good opportunities for the team to lift silverware, but he is hopeful that Spurs can continue to challenge for the Europa League and boost their chances of finishing in the top four in the Premier League.

"Can we win one or two cups? It's possible, of course," the Argentine defender told reporters. "We are in the semi-finals of the Capital One and we need to fight in all competitions.

"We are alive in the Europa League, too, and now we need to think about the next games in the Premier League and fight for our objectives, like qualifying for the Champions League next season.

"The squad is big enough. It's good for our objectives. We are trying to fight in all competitions and that is good. It works for the team and we need to keep playing well as a unit."

Spurs are back in action against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
