Hugo Lloris: 'Tottenham Hotspur feeling strong'

Hugo Lloris claims that the Spurs squad is 'feeling strong' ahead of a busy fixture schedule.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has claimed that the squad is 'feeling strong' as they head into an important run of fixtures.

Spurs are currently challenging for a top-four finish in the Premier League, while they also have the League Cup final to look forward to next month.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are also still in the Europa League, with their campaign getting back underway against Fiorentina on Thursday.

Despite a hectic second half of the season in store for the team, Lloris is not worried by the condition of the players at White Hart Lane.

"The feeling from the players is that we're still improving, so that's really promising," he told the club's official website. "We feel fit, we feel strong mentally and we now enter the most important period of the season, so we are ready to compete.

"We will see at the end where we are. We are not counting matches, we're just playing and thinking about the next one, game by game."

Lloris has made 31 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham so far this season.
