Son Heung-min to self-isolate for two weeks on return from South Korea

Tottenham's Son Heung-min will not be able to return to their training ground for two weeks as he self-isolates upon return from South Korea due to coronavirus fears.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min will be forced to self-isolate for two weeks following his return from South Korea due to coronavirus fears.

The 27-year-old suffered a broken arm in Spurs' 3-2 victory over Aston Villa, and recently travelled to his homeland to undergo surgery.

However, with several sporting events suffering disruption due to the threat of the virus, government protocols have been put in place regarding travel to and from South Korea.

Manager Jose Mourinho is quoted as saying by The Mirror: "I think the normal advice comes from the authorities, comes from the government. I'm not going to make any comment, I'm nobody, I'm no specialist.

"I just get the legal advice and what my club gets from authorities, and of course we follow everything.

"That's why I'm saying that Sonny when he's back from Seoul we will have to follow the protocols and we are not going to have him immediately here."

Son has registered 16 goals in 32 appearances for the North London outfit this season.
