Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly opening talks with managers this week as they look to fill their vacant managerial post before the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly opened talks over their vacant managerial post after the North London club sacked Jose Mourinho at the end of April.

Mourinho was dismissed from his role at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the week leading up to Spurs' EFL Cup final, and since his departure Ryan Mason has been at the helm.

Daniel Levy's original shortlist of potential new managers included Julian Nagelsmann, Roberto Martinez and Brendan Rodgers, who has played down a move to North London from Leicester City.

Football Insider reports that Belgium boss Martinez is a prominent candidate and it is believed that he would be willing to quit his national team job after the European Championships this summer to tackle the job at Spurs.

Fulham boss Scott Parker is another name on the list for Tottenham, and the Lilywhites believe they could be successful in agreeing terms with Parker after Fulham were relegated from the Premier League.

Spurs currently sit seventh in the Premier League table, eight points behind Chelsea in fourth with three games to play.
