Rafael van der Vaart applauds manager Harry Redknapp for helping him settle in at Tottenham.

Rafael van der Vaart has revealed that he is enjoying life at Tottenham Hotspur and has praised manager Harry Redknapp for helping him settle at the club.

The Dutchman was brought to White Hart Lane by Redknapp and has made a big impact at the club since his dramatic deadline day transfer last summer.

"Harry has made me feel at home," he told The People.

"He loves to win and he always puts a lot of attacking players in the starting XI."

Van der Vaart also confirmed he is happy in England and has no intention to leave in the near future.

"London is good and the schools are great for my son Damian... so there is no reason to leave."

The forward scored 15 goals in his debut season and has netted six times in as many games in Spurs' current eight-match unbeaten run.
