Team News: Harry Kane spearheads Tottenham Hotspur attack against MLS All-Stars

Harry Kane leads the Tottenham Hotspur attack in their pre-season friendly against MLS All-Stars.

Tottenham Hotspur have named last season's top goalscorer Harry Kane as a lone striker in their pre-season friendly meeting with MLS All-Stars.

Summer signing Toby Alderweireld has been handed a start at the back, while fellow new recruits Kieran Trippier, Kevin Wimmer and Dele Alli are named among the substitutes.

Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has not been named in the squad, suggesting that he is yet to recover from a broken wrist. Michel Vorm deputises between the sticks.

Spurs will test their mettle against some of the best players in Major League Soccer, including Kaka, David Villa, and DaMarcus Beasley.

Leading the attack for MLS All-Stars, Clint Dempsey lines up against his former club.

Spurs: Vorm; Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies; Bentaleb, Dier; Chadli, Dembele, Eriksen; Kane

All-Stars: Rimando, Beltran, Gonzalez, Besler, Beasley, McCarty, Zusi, Kaka, Zardes, Villa, Dempsey
