Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas is reportedly preparing for life without prolific winger Gareth Bale.

While the Wales international has been heavily linked with Real Madrid for some time, it appears that the winger has had his head turned in recent weeks.

Reports have claimed that the 24-year-old is keen on joining up with the Spanish giants following an alleged tabling of an £85m bid.

Bale has not been named in the list of Villas-Boas's players posted on a wall at the club's Enfield training base, suggesting that the Portuguese coach is preparing for his exit, according to the Daily Star.

Despite Bale's future dominating Tottenham's transfer window, the North London outfit have agreed a fee with Valencia for striker Roberto Soldado.
